I’m Suzanne Warner Simpson, licensed Marriage and Family therapist. Marriage and family therapy examines the individual in relation to other people and systems in their life. Every person is a complex being made up of mind, body, heart, and spirit with each part influencing the others. My passion is co-laboring with others on their journey to wholeness within themselves, and within their relationships. I have experience with relational issues, parenting, children, adolescents, and internal conflict. I am committed to creating a place of safety to help you explore, transform and guide you through life’s most complex and difficult matters.
I earned my Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy degree from Abilene Christian University and received awards regarding my work with clients. Originally licensed in 1996, I took time off to raise my 4 children before returning to private practice in 2016. I have been married for 32 years and have lived in Dripping Springs since 1997.
Family Therapy
Connecting
I am passionate about family, believing it to be the bedrock of our society, the foundation of our culture. Parenting is an adventure: rewarding, perplexing, and challenging. Let's work together to create attachments that connect your family through every life stage and transition, knowing that what is sown now will determine what will be reaped for generations to come.
Couples Therapy
Intimacy
Marriage is the partnering of unique individuals into a relational dance. We are wired for connection, but we must learn how to love each other well. Marriage can be the most deeply satisfying and powerful of our relationships, even when there has been much hurt and wounding. We can collaborate in designing a dance that creates deeper connection while celebrating each of your individual gifts.
Individual Therapy
Wholeness
Each of us is complex with a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspect. My goal is to help you explore every part of your being and promote integration instead of compartmentalization, for true wholeness. I work with those who have struggled with anxiety, depression, fear, anger and shame to discover healing, giftedness and purpose.
